ORLANDO VISUAL MENTORSHIP INITIATIVE

The Orlando Visual Mentorship Initiative

Empowering the Next Generation of Color Guard Educators

At Orlando Visual, we are committed to shaping the future of the marching arts by investing in the next generation of educators, designers, and leaders. The Orlando Visual Mentorship Initiative is a purpose-driven program designed to connect emerging educators with experienced professionals—including seasoned educators, talented technicians, visionary choreographers, and respected designers—who are passionate about mentorship and community impact.

This is a mentee-guided experience, allowing participants to take ownership of their development. Mentees set the pace of the program, guide conversations, and work collaboratively with their mentors to achieve personalized goals—whether in instructional refinement, creative process development, or leadership growth within their programs. The initiative runs for a defined season to allow for consistent progress and reflection, with regular check-ins and access to supplemental resources and feedback from mentors.

Mentors are carefully selected based on their instructional expertise, design innovation, leadership experience, and their ongoing commitment to the advancement of the marching arts. Each mentor brings a proven track record of excellence and a passion for cultivating emerging talent.

To preserve the quality and depth of the experience, participation is limited. A select number of applicants will be accepted each season to ensure every mentee receives individualized attention and meaningful engagement throughout the program.
